Belfast Airport promises to welcome passengers with reduced mobility. Belfast disabled airport parking is present at Belfast airport parking car parks surrounding the airport.
At both the Short Stay and Long Stay car parks, there are help buttons located at all entrance, exit barriers and pay stations. Clearly signed, Blue Badge wide disabled parking spaces are available opposite the terminal building and at the entrance to the Long Stay Car Park. There are also fully accessible bus transfers available from the Long Stay Car Park. If you should need to take your disabled parking badge on your journey with you, present it to the car park supervisor, who will supply you with a temporary badge for your car.
Disabled parking at Belfast Airport is not as expensive as you might expect and in fact, there are some discounts for disabled passengers; in the Short Stay Car Park, Blue Badge holders are entitled to a discounted rate. You should contact the Short Stay Car Park in advance if you would like to discuss this discount.
Personal assistance can be arranged at the Belfast Airport Long Stay Car Park. Simply use the help buttons to contact a trained member of staff, who will be happy to help you with your luggage.
Belfast disabled airport parking will help to avoid any hassle with parking your car. But what about once you have entered the airport terminal? Fortunately, Belfast Airport has good services for disabled travellers. There is a special assistance help desk; a range of low level public telephones; and clearly marked lifts to all floors. Low level kerbs are found at the front of the building for easy drop off and pick up.
The Assistance desk is situated at the left hand side of the Check-in hall. Belfast Airport is suitable for disabled passengers, both in terms of disabled parking at Belfast Airport and in terms of the airport terminal.
