  • Long Stay South the signs at the bus stops are confusing as they always say zone is closed, let down only. Also if you end up in zone E you bus from the terminal goes through all the other stops from A etc so can take quite some time, but handy overall for terminal.

  • Long Stay South On return the signs for courtesy bus for long term carpark confusing in terminal- unnecessarily trudged heavy cases to wrong floor & back again due to inadequate signs we were not the only passengers who found this problem!

    Could the driver issue a no-value ticket to each passenger/group as they board showing the stop letter/number to which to return on the 'homeward' journey?

    A ticket was issued but on checking out, the machine asked for a further payment - happy with the service from the lady in the payment booth - she found my initial payment and cancelled the ticket to allow exit

  • Long Stay South The car parking was fine. Problems arose when our aircraft was diverted from South to North Terminal on return resulting in a 35minute delay in getting to our car.

  • Long Stay South Entrance into the site was easy and straightforward and we had a very short wait for the bus to take us to the terminal on this occasion, which was nice. However, on our return late at night it would have been nice to see a few extra buses. It was extremely busy and there was a long queue ahead of us. When a bus did eventually turn up, people made a mad dash to get on and the bus driver actually had to come out to assist. People were queue jumping with little regard for anyone else and young children and my elderly mum found it stressful. A couple of extra staff to supervise boarding as well as a few extra buses would have gone a long way to easing the situation. When people are tired, it doesn't take much for their tempers to fray. This was the only down side.

    Just an idea, but as well as noting the zone and row it came to me on the way back that I did not make a note of the bus stop number. I'll remember to next time though.
