The hotel's bus runs every hour from 04:15 until 23:15 and takes 10-15 minutes. Tickets are £4.50 per head, but two children can travel for free with two paying adults. Outside of these hours, and for your return journey, you can book a taxi with the United Taxis firm for around £9 each way. United Taxis are partners of the hotel, so if you use another firm it may cost you more.
Each room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities and air conditioning. Other amenities include a hairdryer, ironing board and trouser-press if you want to spruce up a bit before dinner.
The Copthorne boasts two restaurants and two bars, making it a must for food lovers. Both bars also serve food from noon 'til late, so no need to worry if you've got a later flight!
Breakfast is served in the Brasserie from 06:30 to 10:30 though the buffet only runs until 09:30. The restaurant serves a hearty English breakfast as well as a lighter Continental option, complete with fresh fruits and pastries. Dinner is a relaxed affair at the Brasserie, but if you'd prefer a fine-dining experience why not try the Lion D'or where you can choose from a set menu or dine a la carte.
Both the Library Bar and the White Swan pub serve a range of delicious classic pub dishes, and both serve food all day. The Library Bar begins serving at 8am and is a wonderful place to observe the comings and goings of the hotel guests. The White Swan's kitchen starts serving from noon and boasts an excellent selection of real ales and fine wines.
