All rooms at the Thistle Hotel Heathrow are air conditioned and are en-suite, plus they all have triple glazing to ensure a good nights sleep. Each bedroom has access to free, unlimited wifi as well as a flatscreen TV, a trouser press, a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Cots are available on request. Most rooms are a standard double, however you can also request a twin or a triple room. Family rooms have a double or twin bed with a pull-out sofa bed, which can accommodate up two children.
Thistle Hotel guests have access to the Spring Health Leisure Club, which is opposite the hotel and costs just £10 per guest. It has a large swimming and spa pool, a separate ladies' gym, a weights room, a spinning studio, steam room and a boxing studio.
The First Edition Restaurant at the hotel is not to be missed with an entire wall of windows looking straight over the airport and the runway just a few hundred metres away. With a menu serving contemporary dishes through to classic British favourites there will be something on the menu to tempt your tastebuds. The restaurant is open from 6pm-10pm for dinner and 06.00 to 9.30 (Mon-Thur) and from 6.00 to 10.30 (Sat-Sun and Bank Holidays) for breakfast.
If you want a light bite during the day The Oak and Avocado Lounge is open offering drinks, snacks and afternoon tea. Room service is available 24 hours a day.
You can catch the Heathrow Hoppa bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs regularly during the airport's opening hours. From Terminals 2 and 3, the Hoppa service runs every 20 minutes from 04:47 to 23:54. From Terminal 4 the service runs every 30 minutes from 04:51 to 23:51 and from Terminal 5, it runs every 30 minutes from 05:02 to 00:02. You may need to catch a free train between terminals, depending on where you are travelling from, so leave plenty of time.
