Retire to your room to enjoy a view of the Thames if you're lucky enough to be on that side of the hotel, and you'll drift off to sleep in the hotel's comfy beds. The rooms are stylish and simple, making them seem even bigger than they are. The private bathrooms in particular are large for an airport hotel and make you feel welcomed rather than crammed in. There's even free wifi throughout the hotel.

The hotel has some rooms that are accessible to travellers with less mobility. These have lower handles and lighting and temperature controls, emergency cords, higher toilets with railings, bath seats and roll-in showers. The furniture can be moved around in these rooms to make access easier.

Dining at the Crowne Plaza London City

The Docklands Bar and Grill is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves a variety of dishes from its international menu. From Thai green curry, to burgers and sandwiches or popular Italian dishes your sure to find something on the menu. The restaurant is open from 6am-1am. You can get breakfast in the Docklands Grill from 06:30 to 10:30 on weekdays, 07:00 to 11:00 on weekends.

Transfers to and from London City Airport

You can either catch a taxi to the airport or take the Docklands Light Railway. It's about a 15-minute walk to West Silvertown station. Head to platform 1 and take the train towards Woolwich Arsenal. It's two stops to the airport.
