Dedicated blue badge areas can be found in the short stay and Leeds Bradford Long Stay Parking car park; these car parks also offer 24/7 intercom assistance both on arrival at the barrier and within bus shelters. Courtesy transfer buses are low-loading and have space to accommodate wheel chairs. These operate 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and take you directly to the terminal building. If you wish to travel with your Blue Badge you can display a photocopy of your badge in the windscreen.
The pick-up and drop-off car park offers extended services to people with disabilities. For up to 30 minutes you can use this car park free of charge if you are a Blue Badge holder. You can call the airport in advance on 0113 391 1607 to arrange for specific assistance at Leeds Bradford Airport car parks.
The Leeds Bradford Long Stay Parking car park features a new, dedicated parking area for Blue Badge holders. This is located in car park 7, which is a division of the main Long Stay car park. As you pass through the entry gate, turn left at the junction and left again. Blue Badge parking is in the left hand corner of this car park. Please ensure you display a copy of your badge in your car window. Transfer buses are suitable for disabled passengers.
With the airport just five minutes away, the long stay car park can be a convenient option for disabled parking at Leeds Bradford Airport. The car park has the Park Mark award for safety, and is also excellent value for money.
Disabled travellers can access wheelchairs, ramps and ambulift transport once inside the building. There are disabled toilets, lifts and hearing induction loops. Please arrange any special requirements for the flight with your airline.
