Planned Demonstration at Heathrow

A planned demonstration at the eastern side of Heathrow airport means that some disruption is expected on Saturday May 31st.

BAA and the Metropolitan Police are working with the organisers of the march in an attempt to reduce the impact that the demonstration will have on the operation of Heathrow airport. If you're travelling to the airport on Saturday you are advised to allow extra travel time in case of delays.

Please be aware of the following road closures:

  • Envoy Avenue (westbound), Eastern Perimeter Road (southbound) Northern Perimeter Road (south/eastbound) and Nene Road (eastbound) will be closed from 7am and reopened after the march has passed through.
  • The A4 Bath Road between Harlington Corner and Sipson Road, A408 Sipson Road and local roads in Sipson will be closed for a short period in the afternoon. One way systems will be in place between Waggoners Roundabout and Stanwell Moor Road.
  • The Parking Express long stay car park will only be accessible from the northbound/westbound direction on the Eastern Perimeter Road.

The demonstration against further expansion at the airport will start at Hatton Cross tube station and proceed on to Sipson Village.

If you're travelling to Heathrow on Saturday 31 May remember to allow extra travel time and for possible delays in transfers. For all your Heathrow airport parking needs and the latest travel news be sure to check back with BCP.
