Glasgow Airport is the busiest international airport in Scotland. Since it opened in 1966, Glasgow Airport has gone from strength to strength. Last year Glasgow were proud to announce that they catered for over 9 million passengers. Glasgow was also the first international airport in Scotland to serve over 1 million customers in one calendar month, which they did in July 2004.
Glasgow Airport is situated approximately 8 miles west of the city centre and is easily accessible from the M8 motorway, taking Junction 28.
