• Long Stay Everything went smoothly until we arrived at Madeira airport. No planes were landing due to the wind. We were delayed by hours. Instead of arriving in Manchester at 4 pm on the Monday we arrived at 1 am Wedneday morning. We were informed by the lady on the car park terminal 1 and 3 Manchester airport long stay that we would have to pay £40 excess charge. I informed her that we were delayed and because it was beyond the control of Jet2 that we cannot claim for anything back. And we are not claiming people of any description. So we will not be staying in that car park ever again. We paid the £40 and left, enjoy the cash. For most of the hours it felt like we were in one queue or another and it was no fun at all.
