• Multi Storey Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel my flight the evening before travel.
  The airline is refunding my airfare however despite paying for and taking out cancellation insurance cover BCP declined to refund my parking fee stating that as it was within hours there would be no refund.
  This was not made clear at the point of reservation. I therefore consider the condition unfair as surely most cancellations made due to unforeseen circumstances must be on or the day before the date of travel.
  As a senior insurance executive I will shortly be investigating this insurance cover (ie. cancellation waiver insurance) with the Financial Ombudsrman Service to check on its legality.
