Upon your arrival at Long Stay car park 2

Wait at the entry barrier while the machine reads your number plate. Once the barriers open, drive in and park. If there you have any trouble getting past the barrier, just press the button marked 'assistance' and a member of staff will be able to help. Don't insert your credit or debit card into the barrier as you will be charged again for your parking, and don't press the ticket button, as this will stop you being able to gain entry. After parking up, catch the transfer bus to the terminal.

Upon your return to East Midlands Airport

Catch the bus back to the car park from the same place you were dropped off. Once you have returned to the car park, just drive up the exit barrier and hit the road.

Directions to Long Stay car park 2

  • From the north: leave the M1 at junction 24 and following the signs to the airport, take the A453 for approximately half a mile. Turn right into the airport.
  • From the south: leave the M1 at junction 23a and follow the signs to the airport.
  • From the west: follow A50 to junction 24 then follow the signs to East Midlands airport.
    • Upon your arrival at the airport, Long Stay car parks are clearly signposted but entering the site at the main entrance, turn left at the first roundabout and following the road until the next roundabout. Proceed straight on, reaching a third roundabout. Continue straight on and car park 2 is on your left.

Extra information about Long Stay car park 2

  • The car park uses an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, so make sure you enter the correct vehicle registration details when you make your booking. It's recommended to bring a copy of your booking confirmation with you in case you have any difficulties getting through the barrier.
  • No motor homes, lorries, trailers or caravans are permitted even if multiple spaces are booked.
