About Mid Stay 1 Parking

East Midlands Mid Stay Car Park 1 offers customers excellent prices combined with a great location. Situated on site at East Midlands airport, it is within walking distance of the terminal building meaning that you won't need a transfer bus.

Upon your arrival at Mid Stay car park 1

Take a ticket from the barrier and park your car in the designated area. Keep your keys and proceed to the terminal on foot.

Upon your return to East Midlands Airport

On return to the airport proceed to the car park control office (situated in the Short stay car park) and present your entry ticket and booking confirmation. Your ticket will be validated and you should then return to the car park and your vehicle. Drive to the exit barrier and enter your validated ticket to gain exit from the car park. Alternatively, return to your car and drive to the barrier and press the button on the barrier machine. When the attendant responds, please quote your booking reference and car registration. The barrier will then be opened for you to exit.

Disabled facilities

Blue badge holders may pre-book this Mid Stay car park but park in the Short Stay car park instead, which is closer to the terminal and where dedicated spaces are available. Please ensure that your Blue badge is clearly displayed and upon your return state that you have parked in the Short Stay car park when you present your entry ticket and booking confirmation to the Car park enquiries office (situated in the Short stay car park).

Security

This car park has perimeter fencing, lighting, barriers at the entrance and exit, 24-hour CCTV and security patrols every hour, all day. It holds the Park Mark award for secured parking which is awarded by the police.

Transfers

There is no need for a transfer bus, simply walk across the road to the terminal.

Directions to Mid Stay Car Park 1

Follow the signs to East Midlands airport.

  • Mid Stay car parks are clearly signposted.
  • Turn left at the first roundabout.
  • Proceed to go straight on over the next roundabout.
  • Continue straight on over the next roundabout and Car Park 3 is on your right.
