Stansted Mid Stay parking is an extremely convenient parking option for anyone flying from Stansted airport. Mid Stay parking is an on-airport secured car park with a regular shuttle bus running on a scheduled service 24 hours a day. Mid Stay Parking at Stansted is the closest car park to the terminal building meaning it's just a short transfer to check in once you've parked. This car park was formerly known as Stansted E-Parking.
When you drive up to the entry barrier the machine will read and recognise your car registration number. A ticket will be printed showing your booking reference and the barrier will lift. Park your car and transfer to the airport. Airport parking couldn’t get any easier!
If your ticket does not have your booking reference printed on it (above the barcode), show your ticket and your booking confirmation to a parking attendant, or press the call button on the exit barrier for help.
If your ticket does have your booking reference printed on it simply drive to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket you were given when you arrived at the car park and the barrier will open.
Stansted Mid Stay airport parking provides transfer buses that have low floors for easier access. There are also disabled toilets and allocated parking bays for disabled parking.
Stansted Mid Stay parking is a secured compound with high fences, CCTV and 24-hour manned patrols. It’s also been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To achieve the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police to prove that they have modern security measures and are clean and well-lit.
Transfers run every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. The bus takes just a few minutes to cover the short distance to the terminal.
Exit M11 at junction 8a (travelling from the south) or junction 8 (travelling from the north) and follow signs for Stansted airport. Then follow signs for the Mid Stay car park.
